Lennox Announces Expansion Plan in Saltillo, México.

In October 2022, Lennox announced plans to expand its manufacturing footprint in Saltillo, Mexico and build a new factory for its commercial HVAC business. Lennox has more than a decade of manufacturing experience in Saltillo and currently operates a million-square-foot facility that manufactures residential HVAC equipment.

This city was chosen for several reasons, including an understanding of the culture and values Lennox represents and the long-term operational, financial and talent benefits.

The new Saltillo facility will be located close to Lennox's existing residential factory, presenting the opportunity to share resources, including talent and relationships with local suppliers. The new factory will manufacture high-volume, low-variation equipment, a product that serves the emergency replacement market. Lennox plans will producing commercial units in this factory in the second half of 2024.
